Laguna beach was fantastic. I went to lead some young people in worship not knowing I would be the one being lead to worship. The Lord met us in a powerful way this past week. I truly felt these young people and I experienced worship in a new way this week. Not music, not good sing song time but worship, that can only be expressed from an individual directly to God. The Holy Spirit woke me last night to go talk with Him as He reminds me again "you have a purpose to worship". I think we all have that purpose to worship God in spirit and truth with our whole life. We are only limited by the extent we are willing to forfeit our desires and worldly passions. If successful I believe we will see revolutionary power move in and through us like no other generation before!

As I sit in this Mecca of fast food, I ponder the speed at which my life moves. I am paralized by the thought that my child is now a rational being. His questions inform me of his rapidly progressing maturity. We are but bits of sand driftinging in the sand dunes of time. These choices we make seam so insignificant as we press for the quo of status. What we really need is a sudden jolt of reality. Some event that pierces to the core to reveal what really matters. Whom is it that we serve? Who is truly producing our motivation. Is it measly circomstance or is there deeper meaning to our being? If were 100% succesful with our hearts desires what would that look like? Would it look like gods kingdom or your own?

Some times it seems you winning simply by not losing ground.   With all the pressure and circumstance attempting to influence us, I believe sometimes along the way of progress it is sufficient to stand your ground.

Hey guys.   Well I know I've been off the map for a while,  and I can assure you that its been a long 5 years of drought in my spiritual life.    I will post more later but I can tell you that this has been a period of humility and maturity growth.   I can also tell you that this process has been quite painful and sometimes seemed like it would not end.   God has a way of using our bad decisions to develop our character and I am a star pupil of this method.

 

I am planning to start putting some of the worship God has been placing on my heart here.    So check back and see what God's doing to develop this flawed man.
